In factory production lines, static electricity-related troubles are addressed by the widespread use of ionizers. The needle-type discharge ionizer holds a significant market share, but it has the challenge of not being installable in narrow spaces. Therefore, the ionizer developed by Okabe Mica Industry uses mica as a dielectric, placing high-voltage and low-voltage electrodes on both sides. By leveraging the excellent electrical insulation properties of mica, it has become possible to make the dielectric thinner, successfully miniaturizing the high-voltage power supply.
